Presentation Typologies

1. Oral Presentation

Each presentation will last for 15 minutes, including 10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for potential questions and answers session
 

2.Virtual Presentation
Virtual presentation is addressed to those students, researchers, and professors who cannot attend the conference in person. It consists of aa power point presentation (with audio) or a video that will be uploaded on the conference website. The presentation will be accessible for all participants during and after the conference

  نویسندگان محترم می توانند چکیده مقاله  را حداکثر تا تاریخ 8 آذرماه 1395 ارسال نمایند. اعلام نتیجه داوری تا 5 روز کاری پس از دریافت چکیده مقاله خواهد بود. در کتاب کنفرانس چکیده مقالات منتشر خواهد شد.
در صورت پذیرش چکیده، نویسندگان محترم می توانند در صورت تمایل به چاپ مقاله کامل در مجلات طرف قرارداد، فایل کامل مقاله را تا تاریخ 20 اسفند 1395 ارسال نمایند.

 
    
زبان کنفرانس انگلیسی می باشد اما نویسندگان ایرانی می توانند چکیده مقاله خویش را به فارسی جهت ترجمه ارسال نمایند. کتاب کنفرانس به زبان انگلیسی خواهد بود.

Professor Jonathan Newton
Victoria University of Welington, School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies






Dr Jonathan Newton has worked as a language teacher and teacher educator for more than 30 years with wide experience working with teachers from across Asia.
His scholarship focuses on language teacher education and on a variety of aspects of classroom teaching including teaching with tasks, teaching speaking, lesson and materials design, vocabulary learning and intercultural education.
He is in demand internationally as a conference speaker and has published more than 50 book chapters and articles in leading applied linguistics journals. He has also co-authored three books, one with Paul Nation, Teaching ESL/EFL Listening and Speaking (2009, Routledge), a second with Nicky Riddiford,Workplace Talk in Action: An ESOL Resource (2010, VUW Press). and a third (to appear early 2018) co-authored with five leading international scholars, Teaching English to Second Language Learners in Academic Contexts: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. (2918, Routledge). He has a fourth book, Culture in the Asian EFL classroom, in preparation for publication in early 2018.

Dr. Shawn Loewen 
Associate Professor, Second Language Studies Program, Michigan State University





Shawn Loewen (PhD, University of Auckland) is Professor at Michigan State University in the MATESOL and Second Language Studies programs.
He also serves as director of the Second Language Studies program. His research interests include instructed second language acquisition, second language interaction and quantitative research methodology. In addition to publishing in leading SLA journals, he has co-authored two books, 
Key Concepts in Second Language Acquisition, and An A-Z of Applied Linguistics Research Methods. His sole authored book, Introduction to Instructed Second Language Acquisition, appeared in 2015, and the co-edited The Routledge Handbook of Instructed Second Language Acquisition was published in early 2017.
